Those of you who relish top-shelf science fiction thrillers, with fleshed out character development and complex plots that keep you guessing. There will be an abundance of tangible worlds to get lost in. Please step into my parlor!
Tired of novels full of plot holes? Sick of weak characters that CANNOT exist in real life? Well join the club!!
I take special care in developing each element and consider the following: would someone really act or speak this way in a real conversation? Research is taken very seriously. My reasoning is, unless it is built on proof, anything, including foolishness will topple it!
You open the pages of your new novel and minute by minute are lost in the maze of your imagination...Being accustomed to predictable story lines, you hold in your mind the end result of a conflict. However, the outcome seems to come from left field, yet doesn't undermine the premise of the book. You refuse to let the author off the hook! You have been wrong about plots before and would often become disappointed in the end. You press on and notice the consistent feel of excitement, even the supposedly "dull parts" keep your interest. There is plenty of real action and suspense tied to its coattails. The main characters are suffering great losses and you feel their turmoil deep within. These are followed by valleys and triumphant peaks.
